Generating New Ideas and Bringing Leading Thinkers on Race and the Law to UCLA
During the Spring Semester, leading scholars on race theory and practice are invited to present works-in-progress in the Critical Race Theory Workshop. Law students enroll in the workshop for academic credit and are required to provide written feedback about the scholarly ideas to the guest speaker. The workshop talks may also be attended by anyone in the UCLA community interested in participating in the generation of cutting edge critical race scholarship.
Below is the schedule of guest speakers for Spring Semester 2009. The CRS Program has reserved a few slots for the first time, to law students who are participating in the new CRS Writing Workshop, as part of our effort to train the next generation of CRT scholars and support student scholarship production at UCLA Law. The names of those students will be added to the list below, once the selected presenters have been announced.
