The CRS Lunch Series features advocates, scholars, and alumni associated with CRS at UCLA who are actively working for racial justice. The CRS Lunch Series allows students enrolled in the CRS Specialization to engage the scholars and practitioners affiliated with CRS at UCLA in an informal setting. Students engage the practitioners about their efforts to apply critical race frameworks in actual legal and policy settings.
CRS scholars also share developments in their own research projects and engage students about cutting edge approaches to vexing racial and social justice issues in Federal Indian Law, Law and the Mind Sciences, Race Theory, International and Comparative contexts for Racial Justice, Race in Entertainment Law and Media Policy, and Queer Studies.
The CRS Lunch Series is open to all of the students enrolled in the CRS Specialization and any other members of the UCLA community interested in race and the law.
